NACM is excited to announce the One Health Conference in Nepal, scheduled to take place from March 24 to 25, 2025. This event will serve as an inclusive platform for all national and international researchers, professionals, and one health enthusiasts (working in the field of antimicrobial resistance, zoonosis, infectious disease, public and veterinary health, etc) offering a unique opportunity to showcase and share research findings, experiences and learnings.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
- Abstract Submission Deadline: 4:00pm, 15th March 2025
- Format: Abstracts must be formatted as per guidelines below:
Word limit: 250 words (excluding title, author names and keywords)
- Abstract structure: Title, Authors, Introduction, Method, Result, Conclusion
- Provide a succinct title.
- List all authors and their department affiliations
- Mention the presenting author for the conference
- Title, objectives, methods and results should be in synchronicity
- Conclusions must be derived from the study results
- Keywords: Provide 3-5 keywords below the abstract, arranged alphabetically, separated by commas, in all small cases.
Formatting: Abstracts must be submitted as a Word document with 1” margins all around, Calibri (Body) 11 font, with single spacing.
Do not include references in the abstract.
Avoid the use of abbreviations unless necessary. If it is necessary to use abbreviations, you should mention the full words followed by abbreviations in brackets for the first time, then you can use abbreviations in subsequent writing.

Symposium Presentation Guidelines
- All abstracts will be reviewed and competitively selected by a designated scientific review committee
- All abstracts will be eligible for oral presentation; however, the committee may assign some of the abstracts for poster presentation. The screening committee will have the right for rejection of any abstracts found to be unsuitable for presentation. Any decision made by the scientific review committee will be the final decision.
- Oral presentations will be limited to 8 minutes followed by 2 minutes for Q&A.
- Abstracts not selected for oral presentation may be asked to be presented as posters.
- Poster dimensions: 3 feet x 5 feet, portrait orientation
- Poster format: Title, Authors and Department, Background, Objectives, Methods, Results with most relevant tables/graphs/pictures, Discussion/Conclusions, References (5 max)
Eligibility
- Researchers and Academics,Clinical Microbiologists,Public Health Professionals,Veterinarians, Environmental Scientists,Pharmaceutical Scientists,Healthcare Professionals, Policy Makers and Public Health Officials, Students and Early-Career Scientists and Industry Professionals working in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or diagnostic industriesare invited to submit abstracts for presentation
- Scholarly activities eligible for consideration include all Original Research including hypothesis-driven discovery, translational, clinical, population health, educational, Quality improvement projects and case reports
- The work done by students and other trainees must have been conducted under the guidance of the faculty member(s).
- If it is an abstract submitted by the students, the faculty mentor must approve the submitted abstract, including authorship.
